Our client, a leading professional services advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to join their team. This is the firm’s first dedicated HR leadership hire and will report directly to the CEO and COO. The ideal candidate will be a senior HR leader who thrives in a lean, high‑performing environment and enjoys operating as both a strategic thought partner and a hands‑on executor.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, required
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with prior experience as a Head of HR or a senior HR leader (#2) ready to step into a top role, required
Previous experience within professional services, consulting, or financial services environments, required
Ability to go in 4 days a week into the NYC office, required
Proven ability to partner closely with senior leadership and operate in a billable, client‑service oriented environment, required
Experience building and administering structured career frameworks, competency models, and performance review cycles, required
Comfortable operating in a lean organization as a standalone HR leader, required
Nice to have:
Experience working with a PEO partner (Sequoia One is a plus), strongly preferred
