For our client – a global leader in innovative home appliances and intelligent ecosystem solutions, employing over 130,000 people worldwide, and establishing a new strategic business unit in Łódź – we are seeking a Head of HR Operations to take on a key role in shaping and managing modern operational structures that will support the organization’s international growth. As the Head of HR Operations, you will play a key leadership role in building the HR SSC from the ground up. You will oversee all HR operational processes, ensure process excellence and compliance, and lead a growing team to deliver efficient, consistent, and people-focused HR services across Europe.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the setup and ongoing management of the European HR Shared Services Center
Drive standardization and automation of HR operations, including Workday, payroll, reporting, and self-service
Drive process innovation and enhance employee experience across HR operations
Ensure operational excellence, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across all HR services
Partner with HR and business leaders across Europe to align operations with global strategies
Build, develop, and coach a high-performing HR operations team
Oversee compliance with employment laws and data regulations
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence within the SSC
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing or setting up a European HR SSC (experience in building a center from scratch is a plus)
Deep understanding of shared service processes and HR operational models
Proven hands-on experience in HR operations management (e.g. Warkday, payroll)
Strong background in process standardization and operational excellence
Exceptional cross-team communication and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and coach HR Ops teams
High cross-cultural sensitivity and adaptability in an international environment
Fluent English
Nice to have:
Communicative knowledge of Chinese would be an asset
