Job Responsibility:

  • Steer and manage the global HR budget, forecast and reporting processes
  • Drive the group-wide personnel cost planning process and provide the Controlling organization with in-depth analysis of personnel cost development, especially for Germany
  • Close collaboration with Corporate Controlling, Accounting, IT as well as BU/GF Controlling as customers of HR Controlling services
  • Drive process improvements to ensure efficient processes in a changing environment
  • Steer the global HR Chances & Risks within the LXS Risk Management Process
  • Ensure accurate, compliant and reliable HR KPIs for external reporting purposes (e. g. annual report) and be a reliable contact person for internal and external auditors
  • Provide regular management dashboards and further develop meaningful People Analytics to support the HR strategy and Finance decisions
  • Provide strategic workforce planning and demographic analyses for BUs/GFs globally and derive a decision proposal for the yearly apprenticeship planning in Germany from demographic insights
  • Drive the global HR‑IT strategy for all HR functions, including digitalization and automation across global HR processes, data, systems and reporting
  • Initiate and steer cross-functional projects, including transformation initiatives and support of M&A projects
  • Support complex HR restructuring projects with financial expertise
  • Lead the HR Controlling, Analytics & Solutions team (~8 team members), providing deep content leadership
  • Steer the Global Functional Team of 3 HR Controlling team members across the regions

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
  • Substantial (more than 10 years) professional experience in an international and complex organizational environment
  • Profound expertise in HR cost and budget steering, HR reporting and KPI systems, as well as People Analytics
  • Ability to drive digitalization and automation initiatives across global HR, translating business and HR requirements into scalable solutions
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to lead international and interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent analytical skills, structured working style and strong problem-solving capability
  • Assertiveness, strong conflict management and communication skills with individuals at all levels of LANXESS
  • Business fluent in English
