Job Description

As Head of HR Business Partners, you shape how Mollie grows through its people. You lead and develop a team of HRBPs who work at the heart of the business, translating strategy into talent decisions that drive performance across Europe. You partner closely with leaders to turn business needs into a clear People Roadmap. From performance philosophy and talent planning to navigating transformational change, your work directly impacts how teams scale, lead and succeed. This role is about outcomes. You combine judgment, data and insight to help leaders make better people decisions, while building an HRBP function that’s trusted, proactive and closely connected to Mollie’s mission.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a team of 6 HR Business Partners, setting clear direction and raising the bar on impact
  • Translate business strategy into a practical, Europe-wide People Roadmap that supports growth and performance
  • Shape and influence Mollie’s performance philosophy and talent planning, enabling leaders to make critical talent decisions
  • Guide the business through transformational people changes with clarity and confidence
  • Turn people data into clear insights that help leaders spot trends, act early and solve issues
  • Proactively surface HR risks and opportunities, working with the right stakeholders to drive solutions

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience leading and managing a team, with the ability to balance detail and big-picture oversight
  • Deep understanding of working in a tech environment, including experience scaling in an international scale-up context
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect HR strategy directly to business objectives
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, enabling you to build trust and credibility quickly with leaders
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal, including overseeing HRBP communications and training
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, take initiative and keep work moving forward
