Job Description:

Join us as Head of Home Insurance at Barclays where you'll be primarily responsible for managing strategic partner relationships, product & proposition management, commercial performance, customer outcomes, and overall delivery of the home insurance portfolio. You will oversee governance, optimise customer journeys, and collaborate closely with marketing and internal teams to support new product launches and drive ongoing growth.

  • Development of customer level strategies & solutions that are tailored to customers’ needs
  • Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team
  • Development of product propositions, and/or service strategy
  • Development of different commercial and business models
  • Evaluation of the technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks
  • Monitoring of market trends and analysis feedback
  • Management of comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments
  • Monitoring of key metrics such as adoption rates, usage patterns, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing strategic partnerships
  • Great commercial acumen with the ability to think and plan strategically
  • Previous ownership of P&L and performance outcomes
  • Demonstrated people management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in complex or fast‑paced environments
  • Experience collaborating with technology teams
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working
