As the Head of Growth, Creative & Media, you’ll be the commercial engine responsible for driving new business success and exceeding our sales targets within the creative domain. Our creative services expand from brand strategy, creative platforms and big ideas to social, influencer & creator content to creative automation fueled with AI. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Growth team, spanning our Creative & Media services across the DACH region. You’ll spearhead the development and maintenance of a robust, healthy commercial pipeline and are leading on new/existing opportunities, pitches, tenders, RFI’s and RFP’s and incoming (cross-/up sell) requests. Own the entire sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation and qualification through to the delivery of winning proposals, pitch presentations, and ensuring a seamless client onboarding post-signature. You’ll orchestrate winning solutions by closely collaborating with our specialized strategy, creative, social, media, data, and AI teams to craft the strongest possible, integrated proposals and pitches for both local market leaders and global challenger brands.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and secure major creative pitches, tenders, RFPs, and incoming new-business requests
Strategically qualify new leads, assemble the optimal 'A-team’, shape a compelling, winning narrative, and ensure a seamless client onboarding for every new account
Build a strong pipeline via networking, round table events and client dinners
Lead commercial and legal negotiations, with key departments like procurement
Act as the vital link and key facilitator between our international teams, leading and driving creative opportunities and multi-market pitches across the organization
Take ownership and work confidently with executive stakeholders
Collaborate closely with specialist teams
Represent DEPT® externally at events, roundtables, client dinners and industry conferences
Actively promote and embed a growth mindset across the organisation
Requirements:
A solid track record in winning new business
A strong network and understanding of the creative industry
Experience with digital media is a pre
Experience leading and orchestrating complex pitches
Experience managing and aligning cross-functional teams (Creative, Strategy, Media, Data, AI) to deliver integrated, winning proposals
Comfortable presenting and able to network with ease
Naturally well-connected, curious, approachable, and confident when building relationships at executive level
Experience in the creative industry, preferably at an agency
Ambitious, eager to learn, and proactive
Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
