Job Description

Electrolux Professional Group is a leading global provider of professional food, beverage and laundry solutions, serving customers in more than 100 countries. As a listed company with a strong international presence, the group is now looking for their next Head of Group Accounting. This is a key role within Group Finance, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the group’s financial consolidation and reporting while working closely with senior finance leaders across the organization. As Head of Group Accounting, you will lead the monthly and quarterly financial consolidation of the group and play a central role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting in accordance with IFRS. You will lead a team of two experienced team members and act as the group’s expert in accounting and financial reporting matters. The role also includes ownership of the group’s accounting manual and the group’s financial reporting and consolidation system, AARO, ensuring that reporting processes are robust, efficient, and aligned with the group’s internal control framework.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the group’s legal consolidation and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes according to IFRS, including preparation of financials for quarterly interim reports
  • Prepare and ensure quality of the consolidated financial statements for the group’s annual report, including notes and disclosures
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Group Accounting team
  • Act as the group’s subject matter expert on accounting and financial reporting matters
  • Own and develop the group’s financial reporting and consolidation system, AARO
  • Maintain and develop the group’s accounting manual in line with the latest IFRS standards
  • Collaborate closely with finance teams and group functions to ensure a strong and efficient reporting process
  • Ensure that the consolidation process complies with the internal control framework
  • Manage and coordinate the external audit of the group consolidation

Requirements

  • Senior accounting professional with strong experience in group accounting and financial consolidation within an international group
  • Solid background from one of the Big 4 firms
  • Deep understanding of IFRS
  • Experience working in a listed or complex multinational organization
  • Strong technical accounting expertise
  • Leadership capabilities
  • Proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • Genuine curiosity to learn more about the business/finance beyond group accounting

Nice to have

Experience of M&A (incl maintenance of the acquisition register) and accounting of financial instruments
