Job Description

The Head of Global Accounts Payable leads and oversees global AP operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor payments and employee reimbursements across all regions. This role owns AP governance, internal controls, vendor management, and process scalability in partnership with Procurement, Accounting, and Finance leadership.

Job Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end global accounts payable operations
  • Establish and maintain global AP policies, controls, and governance
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payments worldwide
  • Manage global and regional AP teams
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements
  • Own AP-related month-end close activities and balance sheet accuracy
  • Partner closely with Procurement, Accounting, Tax, Legal and FP&A
  • Lead AP automation, system implementations, and process improvements
  • Support internal and external audits

Requirements

  • 8+ years of accounts payable experience, including global scope
  • Strong understanding of AP controls, compliance, and best practices
  • Experience managing global teams and vendors
  • Experience in a multinational or public company environment preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and process improvement skills
