Join an international logistics company and take ownership of freight forwarding operations across Sweden. At Link Logistics, we are looking for a commercially and operationally strong Head of Freight Forwarding Sweden who can lead and develop our freight forwarding setup across Air, Ocean, and Road. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape the operational structure and leadership approach across Air, Ocean, and Road while ensuring alignment between operations, commercial priorities, customer expectations, and future business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Overall responsibility for freight forwarding across Air, Ocean, and Road in Sweden
  • own and drive performance and development across the Swedish Freight Forwarding organization ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, profitability, and continuous improvement
  • for courier customers, responsible for operational performance and service delivery
  • for Freight Forwarding customers, responsibility for both commercial and operational performance, including profitability, customer retention, and business growth
  • ensure compliant, safe, and high-quality freight forwarding operations through strong governance, proactive risk management, operational discipline, and adherence to company standards
  • ownership of the freight forwarding budget and cost structure in Sweden, ensuring strong financial performance through effective cost control and optimization initiatives
  • lead and develop Freight Forwarding supervisors through clear direction, accountability, operational follow-up, and continuous improvement, while strengthening collaboration across functions and commercial areas
  • contribute to the broader business agenda, organizational development, and strategic direction of the Swedish operation
  • work with similar leadership roles across other countries to ensure alignment in ways of working, operational standards, and the optimal utilization of operational resources across the company
