Job Description

As On’s Head of Footwear Quality, a key player in the sourcing organization for the premium quality vision, you are responsible for driving On’s footwear manufacturing quality projects and quality improvements across all product categories. You are passionate about premium product quality. You inspire our team to think beyond the status quo, you inspire our manufacturing partners to strive for quality excellence. You are highly collaborative, you foster strong relationships with cross functional teams in a complex reporting organization. In your role, you will partner closely with our Product Creation, and the different functions within the sourcing organization (Sourcing Operations, Material, Development & Engineering, etc.).

Job Responsibility

  • Drive footwear quality projects and improvement actions with key stakeholders towards higher customer satisfaction and lower warranty rate
  • Own the Footwear Manufacturing Quality Manual, capitalize best practices and lead the implementation across product categories
  • Standardize quality processes, to eliminate quality risk while improving team collaboration
  • Build a network of a quality audit team, drive quality performance across all production sites
  • Build strong relationships within our team and with our manufacturing partners, inspire a culture of premium quality
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure sufficient support for the success of the projects
  • Anticipate and evaluate product risk at development stages

Requirements

  • An entrepreneurial and open mindset

  • 10 years plus of experience in sourcing or manufacturing (across in-house and/or OEM environments) of high performance products
  • Have 'deep' experience driving quality excellence
  • Native to a complex reporting organization, you are highly collaborative
  • This position is based in Vietnam, with frequent travel to Zurich, Indonesia and China
