As a member of Airline Engineering management team, the job holder has accountability, with his/her peers and his/her manager, as a team to deliver various engineering and management activities supporting fleet technical management, maintenance programs, configuration, and customer satisfaction for Airbus.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support On Site Teams with initiatives and measures to maintain and enhance External Customer satisfaction
  • Ensure definition of efficient and integrated workshare between the Airline Engineering teams, the TSP Engineering teams, and the management of suppliers’ deliverables
  • Put in place and run, a department operating model allowing control of business activities and associated resources
  • Foster the development and implementation of standardized processes, methods and tools
  • Support integration of AIRBUS Airline Engineering with overall AIRBUS organization
  • Coordinate with other teams across the centralized plateau to achieve the common objectives
  • Represent Airline Engineering in front of Customer as and when deemed necessary
  • Support FHS-TSP/FTM & FHS-C sales campaigns when necessary
  • Organization and staffing of team as per business requirement
  • Translating the Airbus FHS and Airline Engineering Domain strategy into clear activities for his/her team

  • Support lease return activities required in the frame of FHS-C or FHS-TSP/FTM as necessary
  • Support Airworthiness review process for FHS-TSP/FTM in coordination with Planning & Technical Records focals
  • Drive Engineering activities for Entry-Into Service of new contract or new aircraft as needed
  • Contributing to daily operations activities
  • Manage queries from Customer Order Desk
  • Perform the fleet health monitoring and provide recommendation as necessary
  • Ensure quality of data in IT Tools
  • Define needs for digital tools for engineering and maintenance activities
  • Contribute to the performance and unique added-value of FHS services
  • Provide business expertise to support the development of solutions
  • Test/implement the available solutions, to feedback on benefits and added values
  • Monitor associated cost reduction or performance improvements

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree holder in Engineering (preferably Aerospace) or AME, with specialisation in related fields
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Airline / OEM / MRO, mainly in Technical Services leadership position
  • Good knowledge of Continued Airworthiness Management
  • Good knowledge about AIRBUS, Engine Manufacturers’ and OEMs Technical Documentation
  • Good knowledge of Maintenance Information System, preferably AMOS
  • Licence or Type training on commercial transport category aircraft, preferably on any Airbus fleet aircraft (Desirable)
  • Strong Leadership, communication & managerial skills
  • Superior organisational skills, flexibility to manage multiple priorities, adaptability to changing & challenging deadlines with attention to detail
  • Excellent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer interfacing experience in an aircraft operations and management environment
  • Proven experience in multicultural and international environment
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English

Nice to have:
