Job Description

Wells Fargo’s Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) organization is seeking a senior product leader to serve as Head of Financial Institutions (FI) and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Products. This role is accountable for defining, delivering, and scaling a comprehensive portfolio of payments, liquidity, deposit, and digital workflow solutions for bank and non-bank financial institution clients. This role sits within GPL’s Specialty Products group and operates as a senior leadership position with broad accountability across strategy, delivery, and commercialization. The Head of FI Products partners closely with Relationship Management, Treasury Management Consultants, Platform teams, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to deliver cohesive, scalable, and market-leading solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Define the target product vision and future‑state architecture for FI and NBFI solutions across payments, deposits, liquidity, and digital workflows
  • Define and evolve the target product state and future-state architecture aligned to GPL strategy, platform modernization, and regulatory expectations
  • Shape multi-year roadmaps, investment priorities, and sequencing decisions in partnership with GPL leadership
  • Establish clear product outcomes, success metrics, and portfolio priorities tied to client value, revenue growth, and operational scalability
  • Develop problem statements, solution concepts, and capability maps aligned to FI and NBFI client use cases

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Product Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-platform product portfolios in large matrixed organizations
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance
  • Deep understanding of FI and/or NBFI client segments, payment flows, and operating models
