Job Responsibility:
Financial Operations Oversight: Direct all comprehensive accounting functions, encompassing cost accounting, AP/AR, payroll administration, and general ledger maintenance to ensure data integrity
Multi-Entity Management: Supervise daily cash flow and complex intercompany reconciliations across a nine-entity corporate structure, providing real-time visibility to the leadership team
Team Leadership & Talent Growth: Build and cultivate a high-achieving finance department by providing active mentorship and professional development for junior accounting staff
Governance & Process Optimization: Design, execute, and audit robust internal controls and workflow enhancements to mitigate risk and increase operational efficiency
Capital & Asset Strategy: Manage the lifecycle of capital expenditures, including the negotiation and administration of equipment financing, project funding, and lease agreements
Strategic Reporting: Deliver precise and actionable monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial packages to the executive board
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership in the development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial roadmaps
Compliance : Guarantee full adherence to GAAP standards, tax statutory requirements, and specialized industry regulations
External Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison for external stakeholders, including auditors, banking institutions, and insurance underwriters
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role within the construction industry
Demonstrated success in structuring and scaling a finance department
Strong executive presence, with the ability to challenge senior leadership and accept constructive feedback in return
