Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the Country Manager and directly influence the business
  • Lead a wide range of responsibilities from finance to strategy and people development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance, including managerial experience with direct reports
  • Business level or higher English and Japanese proficiency (both verbal and written)
  • In-depth knowledge of finance, reporting, controlling, and taxation
  • Advanced skills in Excel (mandatory) and experience with SAP (is an asset)
  • Experience working in a multinational company
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make objective decisions
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to travel internationally 1-2 times per year

Nice to have:

  • CPA, CMA, or similar certifications are a plus
  • Experience with IFRS is a plus
