Job Description:

Take full ownership of finance and become a trusted commercial partner at board level in a fast-growing international business. This is a career-defining opportunity to step into a highly visible Head of Finance role where your judgement, leadership and commercial insight will directly shape the future of the business. You will work closely with the founders and senior leadership team, with real influence over strategy, performance and decision making. This role offers genuine autonomy, hybrid working and the chance to build a scalable finance function that supports continued growth across global markets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the monthly close and management accounts, giving leadership accurate, timely insight to make confident decisions
  • Take responsibility for balance sheet integrity, ensuring strong controls and governance as the business grows
  • Lead cashflow forecasting and working capital management, directly protecting liquidity and funding growth
  • Act as the senior commercial finance lead, influencing decisions across sales, operations and supply chain
  • Provide clear analysis on pricing, margins and costs so profitability is understood and improved
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities early, allowing proactive, solutions-focused action
  • Drive finance transformation and automation, reducing manual processes and improving scalability
  • Work closely with technology and operational leaders to ensure systems and data support growth
  • Lead, develop and motivate the finance team, positioning finance as a strategic enabler rather than just a reporting function
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit relationships, ensuring confidence and control

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating at Head of Finance or Finance Director level
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with a commercial mindset
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams across multiple locations
  • The confidence to engage, challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • A pragmatic, proactive approach in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Strong systems and analytical capability, including Excel, BI tools and SAGE 200
  • Experience working with internal and external audit, ideally within a Big 4 audited environment
