Job Description

Take full ownership of finance and become a trusted commercial partner at board level in a fast-growing international business. Job Responsibility

  • Own the monthly close and management accounts, giving leadership accurate, timely insight to make confident decisions
  • Take responsibility for balance sheet integrity, ensuring strong controls and governance as the business grows
  • Lead cashflow forecasting and working capital management, directly protecting liquidity and funding growth
  • Act as the senior commercial finance lead, influencing decisions across sales, operations and supply chain
  • Provide clear analysis on pricing, margins and costs so profitability is understood and improved
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities early, allowing proactive, solutions-focused action
  • Drive finance transformation and automation, reducing manual processes and improving scalability
  • Work closely with technology and operational leaders to ensure systems and data support growth
  • Lead, develop and motivate the finance team, positioning finance as a strategic enabler rather than just a reporting function
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit relationships, ensuring confidence and control

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating at Head of Finance or Finance Director level
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with a commercial mindset
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams across multiple locations
  • The confidence to engage, challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • A pragmatic, proactive approach in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Strong systems and analytical capability, including Excel, BI tools and SAGE 200
  • Experience working with internal and external audit, ideally within a Big 4 audited environment
