This is an exciting senior management opportunity to play a central role in ensuring ccha remains financially strong, well‑governed and equipped for the future. As Head of Finance & Resources, you will lead our Finance, ICT and Facilities & Safety functions – ensuring each operates efficiently, collaboratively and in alignment with our mission to provide safe homes, excellent customer care and value for money for our residents. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will work closely with the Director of Finance & Resources, deputising when required, and contributing to organisation‑wide strategy, planning and performance. You will champion operational excellence, digital transformation, value for money and strong internal controls, ensuring that our services are fit for purpose, future‑focused and delivered to a high standard.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee day to day financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, management accounts and audit coordination
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Provide data for financial projections and long term business planning support, including maintenance of 30 year financial models and cashflow forecasts
  • Ensure consistent application of financial regulations, rent standards, and value for money principles
  • Ensure the delivery of high performing ICT services and infrastructure that meet evolving business needs
  • Oversee ICT service levels, supplier relationships, digital transformation projects and disaster recovery planning
  • Oversee the management and development of ccha’s office environment, ensuring it is safe, compliant and fit for purpose
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements and support ccha’s green agenda
  • Promote ccha’s values – Care, Adapt, Everyone, Resilience – in all interactions and leadership behaviours

Requirements:

  • CCAB qualified (ACA/FCA, ACCA/FCCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
  • Proven leadership of high performing, cross functional teams in customer focused environments
  • Experience supporting organisational change and improving processes and systems
  • Experience overseeing ICT services or managing ICT suppliers
  • Strong communication skills, able to present complex financial information clearly
  • Excellent influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Decisive leadership that balances strategic insight with operational delivery

Nice to have:

Experience working in the housing sector would be advantageous
