As Head of Sales - ePOS for Italy, you will lead the commercial launch in Italy, driving early momentum, opening the first key accounts, and setting the standard for how we grow in the market. You will be a core member of the Italian leadership team, working closely with the France-based commercial and product leaders. With direct exposure to senior decision-makers, you will have real influence on the Italian strategy as well as the wider European product journey, helping shape how we position, price, and sell the product. Job Responsibility
Lead the end-to-end commercial launch of our newest product in Italy, ensuring a strong market entry and clear sales direction from day one
Define and execute the local GTM strategy, and personally drive early sales activity, open key accounts, and build credibility in the market during the first phase of launch
Build, hire, onboard, and develop the Italian sales team, setting the foundations for long-term growth and performance
Establish sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and performance tracking to create a scalable commercial operation
Own the revenue targets for Italy and drive consistent new business acquisition across SMB merchants in key verticals
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Operations to align commercial execution with broader business goals
Bring local market insight, merchant feedback, and competitive intelligence into strategic discussions to help shape product direction and commercial positioning
Represent ePOS in meetings with merchants, partners, and at industry events, acting as a key commercial ambassador for the business
Requirements
7+ years of experience in B2B sales, including strong leadership exposure
Proven success building or scaling commercial teams and sales functions
Experience in ePOS, SaaS, payments, fintech, or hospitality / retail tech
An excellent track record of launching a new market, territory, or business line
Strong experience selling to SMB decision-makers across relevant sectors
A hands-on mindset with the ability to combine strategy and execution
Fluency in Italian and English, with French considered a strong advantage
Willingness travelling regularly within Italy and occasionally to France as part of close collaboration with international stakeholders
