Our client is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead and scale a high-performing, multi-disciplinary engineering organization supporting digital trading and capital markets platforms.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and scale a high-performing, multi-disciplinary engineering organization supporting digital trading and capital markets platforms
  • Define the engineering strategy and architecture roadmap
  • Ensure platform scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Embed modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevOps, Agile, and automated testing
  • Lead teams across Mobile (Kotlin, Swift), Frontend (Vue.js), Backend (.NET), and Database (Oracle)
  • Build a culture of ownership, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 10+ years in software engineering
  • 5+ years in senior engineering leadership
  • Proven experience scaling teams in fintech, capital markets, or trading environments
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience from a leading fintech or technology-driven financial institution (e.g., Saham, Awaid, Robinhood or similar)
  • Strong experience across mobile, web, backend, and data platforms
