Job Description:

We are supporting a fast-growing fashion brand on a confidential search for a Head of E-commerce. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the full E-commerce strategy, P&L, and operations while building a high-performing team and optimising the customer journey.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the E-commerce function across trade, site design, development, merchandising, UX, and CRO, building and managing a robust tech stack
  • Own the full E-commerce P&L, tightly managing budgeting and forecasting
  • Deliver product, collection, and collaboration launches on time and accurately
  • Manage a team to deliver world-class performance across the website and all E-commerce functionalities
  • Identify and implement AI opportunities on the website and streamline workflows across the department
  • Oversee Shopify Liquid development and manage in-house development resources
  • Lead customer retention strategies across CRM channels including Email, SMS, WhatsApp, push, loyalty, and CDP
  • Drive all key E-commerce KPIs including LTV, CVR, AOV, UPT, and ASP
  • Manage and grow the mobile app experience
  • Build out localisation strategies for core and emerging markets, including language support and personalisation
  • Manage the affiliate marketing programme
  • Work closely with brand and commercial teams to provide data-driven insights to support decision-making
  • Stay ahead of new technologies and E-commerce trends to continuously improve website performance and the customer journey
  • Oversee SEO and organic search strategy to increase visibility across search engines and LLMs
  • Manage team workload, hire to fill gaps, and ensure the department operates at maximum efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with paid marketing, operations, logistics, merchandising, CX, marketing, and brand partnerships

Requirements:

  • 5+ years leading a digital retail / E-commerce P&L, ideally in cross-border fashion or apparel
  • Experience running a £50m+ D2C website, with the US being a key market
  • Strong knowledge of CRO techniques and CRM strategies to maximise cLTV
  • Proven experience managing Shopify+ websites and ideally multiple storefronts
  • Global E-commerce experience (USA, Europe)
  • Natural leadership, capable of managing and inspiring a high-performing team
  • Strong understanding of retail, E-commerce, and marketing businesses
  • Commercially minded with a proven track record of driving results
  • Obsessive about delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Data-informed but instinctive thinker
  • able to combine analytics with creative decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills and experience tracking and optimising performance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to persuasively present ideas
