Job Description

We are looking for our new Head of E-commerce & Marketplaces to own and accelerate one of Axel Arigato's most dynamic channels. You will drive revenue, conversion and brand experience across .com and our partner marketplaces; champion UX, IX and AI-led ways of working; and identify and unlock new commercial opportunities - in close collaboration with the teams that bring our brand to life across every touchpoint. As a leader, you bring both edge and empathy. You build teams that are ambitious and accountable, and create an environment where people feel seen, challenged and set up to do their best work. You connect the dots across Commercial, Finance, Tech and Digital Marketing - not just through structure, but through trust. You lead with warmth and clarity in equal measure, and you live our DROP values - not as a checklist, but as a way of showing up every day.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and forecast the e-commerce and marketplace P&L - revenue, OPEX and contribution - and build and defend the channel budget
  • Drive site performance, trading calendar, campaigns, conversion and the end-to-end customer experience across PDP, checkout and post-purchase
  • Set the channel AI roadmap - personalisation, merchandising, content, service - and drive team adoption
  • Define business requirements and partner with the Head of IT on platform roadmap and integrations
  • influence return rates and service outcomes via product and post-purchase
  • Grow our marketplace partnerships, onboard new platforms, uphold SLAs and identify new revenue streams across channels, markets and geographies
  • Set briefs and challenge plans with Digital Marketing on traffic, paid and CRM
  • turn KPIs and data into clear trading decisions
  • Lead and develop your team with clarity and ambition
  • align stakeholders on one plan and model our DROP values - Diversity, Respect, Openness and Passion - in everything you do

Requirements

  • Proven track record leading a substantial e-commerce channel at an e-commerce-first brand across multiple markets in EU and the US - fashion, footwear or premium lifestyle preferred
  • Strong commercial and P&L management - you build the budget, forecast revenue and OPEX, and own the number
  • Hands-on background in digital and performance marketing, UX and platform projects
  • fluent in paid, CRM, SEO and marketplace growth
  • A clear point of view on AI in e-commerce - you've deployed AI tools and can lead a team through adoption
  • An inspiring people leader with proven ability to build high-performing teams, communicate across functions and thrive in a fast-growth brand environment
