Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Digital Engineering to lead a team of developers and engineers in driving the digital transformation of our bank. As Head of Digital Engineering, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our digital engineering strategy, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of our digital engineering team.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement the bank's digital engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs
Lead and manage a team of digital engineers and developers, providing guidance and support as needed
Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize digital projects and initiatives
Oversee the design and development of new digital platforms and services, ensuring high-quality and robustness
Manage the implementation of new technologies and platforms to support the bank's digital transformation
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, and partners
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to digital engineering and information security

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
advanced degree preferred
10+ years of experience in digital engineering, software development, or related field
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large digital engineering teams
Extensive knowledge of digital technologies and architectures, including web and mobile development, cloud computing, APIs/Microservices, middleware platforms and automation
Strong understanding of information security best practices and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a complex and rapidly changing environment
Ability to communicate clearly and operate at all levels (operational, tactical, and strategical)
Technical acumen (design patterns, architectural patterns, best practices, focused on integration and resiliency is highly recommended)
DevOps best practices
Cloud practical knowledge and understanding
Microservices architecture knowledge
Event oriented architecture and complex transactional mechanisms implementation knowledge
Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms
