Job Description:

Citi Wealth is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as the Head of Digital Advisory and Financial Planning Experience Technology. This critical role will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing the technology strategy and roadmap for our digital advisory platforms and financial planning tools, enabling our advisors and clients to achieve their financial goals through innovative, intuitive, and scalable solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and articulate technology vision and strategy for digital advisory and financial planning
Own end-to-end technology roadmap including prioritization and resource allocation
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global technology team
Drive modernization of existing platforms and adoption of new technologies
Define and enforce robust technical architecture standards
Collaborate with senior business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders
Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party vendors
Champion client-centric and advisor-centric approach to technology solutions
Ensure adherence to risk and control frameworks and regulatory requirements
Manage technology budget for digital advisory and financial planning

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Master's degree or MBA preferred
15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles
8+ years focused on digital advisory, financial planning, or wealth management technology
Proven experience leading large, complex technology programs and transformations in a global financial institution
Demonstrable track record of building and scaling innovative digital products and platforms
Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, regulatory landscape
Extensive experience with modern architectural patterns (microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures)
Experience with Java ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular
Experience designing, implementing, and integrating AI/ML models
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes)
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Deep analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Nice to have:

Master's degree or MBA
Experience with AI/ML models in financial applications
Cloud platform certifications
