We are expanding our staffing base in growth areas and are looking for a colleague with research experience to lead the Department of Pharmacy Practice within the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the Department of Pharmacy Practice within the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences
Continued development of various professional programmes within the school, currently centring on the MPharm and Pharmacist Independent Prescribing courses
Lead colleagues to ensure: the delivery of high-quality teaching
development and delivery of innovative learning and assessment to achieve excellent student experience and outcomes, and
the development of research across the department, working with colleagues to enhance research-informed teaching associated within the pharmacy subject area
Requirements:
GPhC registered pharmacist with research development experience
Ideally, in possession of a postgraduate diploma or above in clinical pharmacy or equivalent and/or a GPhC accredited independent prescribing qualification (or nearing completion of)
Excellent and collegiate leadership style to develop a strong team to enhance research-informed teaching
