Help us deliver like never before. We’re hiring a Head of Delivery to shape, prioritise and govern delivery across Enterprise Services. Acting as the primary business-facing entry point into Delivery, you will translate strategic priorities into a clear, integrated domain delivery roadmap, ensuring work is prioritised, sequenced and aligned to enterprise strategy, architecture, capital governance and capacity constraints. Working closely with senior leaders across Portfolio and Planning, you’ll drive transparent, value-led decisions across demand, investment and sequencing, while enabling successful execution of approved initiatives through Portfolio Delivery Managers. This is a portfolio-focused leadership role, accountable for shaping and governing the delivery pipeline rather than day-to-day program execution. It has authority across strategy-to-delivery alignment, including demand management, investment prioritisation and sequencing. Job Responsibility

  • Set and communicate the strategic direction for the domain delivery portfolio, ensuring alignment to Enterprise Services strategy, architecture, and capital governance
  • own the domain delivery roadmap, including prioritisation, sequencing, dependencies, and alignment to enterprise programs and cross‑functional initiatives
  • govern the delivery investment pipeline, continuously assessing strategic fit, value, risk, capacity, and enterprise dependencies across inflight and emerging initiatives, including BU‑funded change
  • ensure delivery approaches, technology choices, and investment decisions comply with architectural standards, governance frameworks, and broader Enterprise Services priorities
  • lead the AI Delivery Fabric strategy and product roadmap aligned to the E&TA operating model, five strategic pillars and Post 30 priorities
  • support the Enterprise Services Portfolio Planning processes to ensure prioritisation decisions optimise risk, value and strategic alignment
  • lead capital planning and prioritisation across the domain, balancing strategic objectives, operational urgency, risk management, and financial constraints
  • exercise delegated financial authority responsibly, ensuring expenditure aligns to approved budgets, forecasts, governance expectations, and business outcomes
  • provide financial stewardship across internal labour, vendors, and technology spend, including disciplined forecasting, variance management, and transparent reporting of spend, benefits, and outcomes
  • productionise engineering and architecture standards into CI/CD pipelines, reusable coding patterns, tooling and automated compliance controls that accelerate delivery across Lines of Business
  • act as the primary interface between Delivery Services and senior business leaders, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point
  • provide clear, transparent communication on delivery progress, risks, business readiness, and strategic impact
  • lead complex stakeholder environments by resolving conflicts, aligning priorities, and escalating risks in a timely and effective manner
  • own business case quality and benefits realisation for initiatives within the domain, overseeing funding approvals and guiding investment release processes
  • ensure approved business case benefits for related projects, programs, and outcomes are delivered to plan

Requirements

  • An experienced enterprise delivery leader with a strong track record operating at portfolio level in large, complex organisations undergoing transformation
  • deep experience across portfolio delivery, planning and transformation, with strength in financial management, operations, strategy and change
  • comfortable in product and platform-led technology environments, with experience across digital transformation, enterprise agility and Lean Portfolio Management
  • strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance demand, funding, capacity and sequencing in complex settings
  • an influential communicator who can present complex technical matters to executive audiences, build strong stakeholder partnerships and drive outcomes across the organisation
  • a degree in Business, STEM or a related field is beneficial, along with Portfolio Management or Agile Leadership certification
