Job Description:

The Head of Delivery, Studios Technology, is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of ITV Studios’ technology roadmap and portfolio, enabling the timely and efficient delivery of strategic and operational initiatives. The role will lead governance, demand management, and resource planning processes, ensuring that delivery is well prioritised and aligned with the broader ITV technology organisation. Responsible for budget and performance oversight, the Head of Delivery will manage risks, dependencies, and progress reporting across the portfolio, while building and developing high-performing delivery teams capable of supporting ITV Studios’ continued growth and creative ambition.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience defining and leading complex, multi-stream technology delivery portfolios in a matrixed organisation
  • Strong understanding of delivery methodologies — Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches — and the ability to apply the right approach to different project types
  • Expert in establishing and running delivery governance, reporting frameworks, and assurance processes at portfolio and programme levels
  • Proven to be able to manage internal delivery teams and third-party suppliers
  • Deep knowledge of project and portfolio planning, resource forecasting, and capacity management
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting against investment and operational budgets
  • Familiarity with end-to-end TV production workflows, delivery culture and the technology ecosystem that supports them
  • Collaborative approach to partnership with Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders to ensure coordinated execution of strategic initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across creative, operational, and technical domains
