This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Delivery Excellence and Continuous Improvement function across EA Technology’s COO organisation. You will play a key role in embedding consistent delivery standards, governance and operational excellence, ensuring projects and services are delivered safely, predictably and in line with commercial objectives. Working across Commercial, Product & Engineering and Operations, you will drive continuous improvement, establish robust delivery frameworks and provide leadership insight that supports informed decision-making and business performance.
Job Responsibility
Lead the Delivery Excellence and Continuous Improvement function across the COO organisation
Define and embed end-to-end delivery frameworks, governance models and readiness gates across operational teams
Own operational performance management, including KPI development, reporting and review cadence
Sponsor and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring root causes are identified and sustainable improvements are implemented
Drive consistency in delivery playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards across markets, partners and central teams
Ensure work is fully prepared for delivery through effective pre-mobilisation checks and cross-functional handover governance
Lead capability development in delivery standards, project controls and operational excellence disciplines
Work with systems owners to improve workflow tools, operational data quality and reporting automation
Provide insight into capacity, risks, bottlenecks and performance trends to support COO decision-making
Promote a culture of standardisation, accountability and evidence-based continuous improvement across the organisation
Requirements
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to set direction, manage performance and develop high-performing teams
Strong stakeholder management skills across Commercial, Product & Engineering and Operations
Experience developing delivery frameworks, governance models or operational excellence programmes
Strong understanding of KPI development, operational performance management and reporting
Experience planning capacity and delivering predictable outcomes through structured operating cadences
Commercial awareness, including budgeting, prioritisation and cost-to-serve considerations
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues for a range of stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
Nice to have
Experience working within a global hub-and-spoke or partner-led delivery model
Experience leading operating model, process or systems transformation initiatives
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
Experience within utilities, engineering, technology or other operationally complex environments
