We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Head of Deal Desk (m/f/d) to lead and evolve our global Deal Desk function. This role is pivotal in enabling scalable growth, driving commercial excellence, and empowering our sales organization through high-impact deal structuring and governance. As part of the CRO organization, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to accelerate deal velocity, optimize margins, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the global Deal Desk function, overseeing deal structuring, pricing strategy, and commercial governance
Partner with Sales leadership to support complex, strategic transactions, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Develop and implement scalable processes, tools, and frameworks to streamline deal approvals and reduce cycle times
Own and continuously enhance pricing models, discount structures, and approval workflows
Collaborate with Legal and Finance to ensure contract compliance, risk mitigation, and policy adherence
Deliver actionable insights and reporting to the CRO and executive leadership on deal performance, pipeline health, and pricing trends
Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing Deal Desk team
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Commercial Strategy within a SaaS or enterprise software environment
Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, revenue recognition principles, and enterprise contract structures
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across both executive and operational levels
Analytical and process-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM and CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
Fluent in English and German
