Job Description:

Rockbot is hiring a Head of Data who will blend strategy, architecture, and execution to turn Rockbot’s data into a growth engine. They will build and lead a centralized data organization spanning analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven business processes. This role will bring structure, strategy, and scalability to Rockbot’s growing data ecosystem — transforming fragmented insights into a cohesive, revenue-driving capability.

Job Responsibility:

Define and execute Rockbot’s data strategy
Build and evolve Rockbot’s data stack
Develop and scale ads analytics
Drive advertising and monetization insights
Lead analytics and experimentation
Champion AI enablement
Drive data-informed decision-making
Shape data governance and quality
Build and mentor a high-impact team
Foster a data-driven culture

Requirements:

10+ years of experience across data engineering, analytics, BI, or data science
5+ years leading teams at high-growth SaaS, adtech, or consumer tech companies
Proven ability to design and scale data platforms (warehouse, ETL/ELT, modeling, governance) and to influence engineering and product architecture
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, Hex, Tableau, Looker (or equivalent modern data tools)
Experience building analytical models, experimentation frameworks, and performance dashboards used by business and product teams
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP and emerging ML/AI toolchains
Excellent communication skills
