Job Description:

As the Head of Data, Switzerland CIB, the role involves overseeing the implementation of Group Data Strategy, compliance with the Data Risk Policy, supporting frameworks, adherence to local regulatory data requirements, and driving data quality and literacy. The role also requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to manage risks, develop strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data practices comply with regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Develop the data strategy for CIB Switzerland
manage implementation of HSBC data governance and quality guidelines
create and govern relationships between data elements across different systems
manage and monitor operational risk in data management
work with COO/CRO/CFO/Legal regarding regulatory deliverables
ensure awareness and escalation of emerging risks and issues
drive alignment to Group Data Strategy locally
deliver data-related training to ensure awareness of data literacy principles
collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data practices comply with regulations
set up data-related processes, procedures and controls
oversee risk appetite and close control gaps through continuous monitoring.

Requirements:

Experience in data management related projects
strong communication skills
stakeholder management
effective decision-making, influencing and problem-solving skills.
