Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Data Science to lead and scale a world-class team, driving high-impact business optimization across Fever. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the business, translating ambitious goals into a clear, structured, and actionable Data Science roadmap. You will play a key role in shaping how data and advanced analytics are leveraged to improve decision-making and unlock growth opportunities. As a leader, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing Data Science team, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement. At the same time, you will operate as a hands-on practitioner, maintaining strong technical depth. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategy, leadership, and technical expertise to drive meaningful impact at scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of Data Scientists to improve overall decision making capabilities to drive business optimization
  • Scale up the team into a world-class Data Science team owning the full hiring funnel
  • Refine culture and team dynamics to nurture a cutting-edge Data Science team
  • Act as internal evangelist for a data-driven culture
  • Help drive the adoption of AI within the Data Science team and the wider organisation
  • Drive projects end-to-end in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Lead the design and deployment of models driving the highest impact within Fever’s business
  • Own the experimentation framework used to evaluate experiments’ effectiveness at scale
  • Contribute towards advancing the Data Science discipline within Fever

Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience in applied analytics, including a minimum of 4 years of experience managing analytics teams
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing analytics teams
  • Experience building or scaling up analytics teams
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit, get stuff done and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • You have proven experience driving impact through the development, experimentation and deployment of models and data-driven analytics solutions
  • You have a strong understanding of statistical analysis and modeling including regression, econometric models, time series analysis and forecasting
  • You have excellent communication skills and are proficient in business English
