The data science and analytics team is a diverse group of practitioners who collaboratively support all product categories and cross-functional stakeholders across finance, marketing, sales, compliance, and account management. The team delivers solutions across the sales funnel, from lead scoring to strategic business analysis.
Job Responsibility:
Embed data science into the core of marketing and business decisions, leveraging expert knowledge of marketing analytics, business operations, and high-impact team building
Lead and oversee a team of data scientists and analysts focused on delivering best-in-class models and actionable insights
Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to understand evolving business needs, and develop effective analytics solutions and models
Execute a roadmap to continuously improve the accuracy and functionality of models, enhancing overall business outcomes
Drive data science initiatives that improve customer engagement and operational efficiency through personalization and targeting
Deliver value-creating projects, including customer segmentation, propensity models, and dynamic bidding algorithms
Serve as subject matter expert and primary producer for forecasting model development and execution, partnering with enterprise data management and technology teams
Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing key insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Foster a learning mindset throughout the team, supporting a collaborative and client-focused culture motivated by business and technical challenges
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience
Proven hands-on SQL, Python, and Databricks skills
Data science experience within a marketing context, including: Attribution modeling
Audience segmentation, targeting, and measurement
Campaign lift analysis
Predictive modeling
KPI forecasting and scenario planning
Funnel conversion analysis
Geographic performance and market opportunity analysis
Marketing experimentation frameworks
Hybrid work schedule based in Fort Lee, NJ (2 days onsite / 3 remote)
Strong leadership skills and track record as a people manager
Excellent business and analytical acumen, with ability to analyze and present relevant information to non-technical and executive audiences
Deep experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics methods
Proactive, results-driven approach, and proven track record of execution
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with structured problem-solving ability
Nice to have:
Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Statistics)
Experience in direct-to-consumer, financial services, or insurance sectors
