Job Description

Our client a leading business operating at the heart of the energy market are seeking a senior candidate to perform a critical leadership role where you will be responsible for building and developing the Credit Risk function taking ownership of the commercial credit risk and wider governance/policies.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, own and maintain the credit risk strategy and framework, including scorecards and lending appetite
  • Enhance and develop the analytics capability within the team, through transformation and automation
  • Management of a small team providing strategic direction
  • Designing and reporting of management information
  • Provide oversight and governance to the underwriting and arrears teams

Requirements

  • Prior experience of working within an FCA regulated firm
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a credit assessment and underwriting position
  • Credit Risk policy implementation experience
  • Experience of managing or leading a small team within a relevant role
  • Prior experience of Credit modelling and developing strategy

Nice to have

Any exposure to consumer credit or B2B lending portfolios is desirable
