Job Description:

Atlassian is looking for an experienced production veteran to join the Creative Studio, our diverse and vibrant internal creative agency. As Head of Creative Production, you will oversee a team of Producers and Project Managers running film, digital, events, and outdoor projects. Your team will drive and deliver impactful work that supports Atlassian’s global marketing and business goals.

  • Drive and deliver impactful work that supports Atlassian’s global marketing and business goals
  • Create and manage best-in-class production work
  • Lead teams, build processes and playbooks for production
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships
  • Partner with internal Creative, Marketing, PMM, Procurement, Legal, and the Events teams, as well as external production partners and creative agencies
  • Ensure high quality work is delivered on time in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage productions of all kinds as well as internal operations

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of creative production and film experience on an internal creative team inside a Creative Agency and/or internal Brand Marketing team
  • Demonstrated taste and craft across production work that is proven in portfolio work
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of how to achieve objectives while meeting an expected brand standard, a high bar for aesthetic quality within set budgets and schedules
  • Experience working with celebrity talent and talent agencies
  • Comfortable managing vendor procurement, payments and legal partnerships
  • Can be a player/coach, and change elevations depending on the need
  • Experience directly managing multiple teams and work across local and remote design, production and product marketing teams
  • Strong relationships with external production partners locally and globally
  • Excellent negotiation skills (especially contract and budget negotiations) with clients, peers and partners
  • Superior leadership and communication skills
  • Experience and affinity for Atlassian products and brand
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
