Job Responsibility

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multinational IT team (currently 6)
  • Own our global, cloud-first Corporate IT infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, telephony, endpoints)
  • Partner with InfoSec to maintain and improve IT security practices and compliance
  • Oversee all aspects of device, identity, and access management
  • deliver seamless user onboarding/offboarding
  • Ensure the highest levels of user satisfaction by driving continual improvement and proactive support
  • Design and deliver global IT strategies, aligning technology with business goals
  • Lead or sponsor IT projects—including service transitions, new tools rollouts, integration/M&A projects, or DR/BCP planning
  • Introduce and embed process improvements, innovation, and automation
  • Direct and optimise a significant IT budget (multi-million pound scope)

Requirements

  • Proven senior experience leading Corporate IT / ICT in complex, multi-site/global business environments
  • Demonstrable expertise in strategic IT operations, team leadership, budgeting, and vendor management
  • Track record of successfully delivering transformation, standardisation, or IT modernisation projects
  • Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, device management, and enterprise IT operations (Windows, macOS environments, cloud networks)
  • Strong business partnering, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Deep commitment to customer service and operational excellence
  • Experience managing or auditing to regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, ITIL), and working closely with Information Security
  • Experience leading and supporting remote-first, international user bases
