Head of Core Rider Operations, Taiwan Mobility Job at Uber (Taipei City)

Job Description

We are looking for an individual who has strong operational and analytical skills, as well as strategic business sense to lead our Taiwan Core Rider team for the mobility business. In this role, you will lead our rider operations and work with diverse local and regional teams in coming up with initiatives to drive growth and operational efficiencies that can make a big impact and change the way people move in Taiwan!

Job Responsibility

Business Sense: Lead consumer and products business performance, owning operational and financial data and driving analysis to make critical business decisions
Rider strategy ownership: Work with executive leadership to set Taiwan rider strategy
Problem Solving: Seek issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, common sense, and data
Process optimization: Help your team identify core analyses and processes, optimize them, and lead implementation across Taiwan
Product Improvement: Demonstrating team's insights, develop, propose, and stand up for the features or improvements
Stakeholder Management: Serve as a thought partner and lead cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

Data-Driven Mentality: Guide teams through strategic decision making based on data analysis and interpretation. Experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to see the big picture
Communication: Mandarin and English proficiency. Validated experience interpreting and communicating data to various audiences
Teamwork: Promote a team environment where individuals can communicate and contribute freely
Leadership: Team management experience and ability to align with diverse internal stakeholders and teams
Executional Excellence: Strongly lead and prioritize sophisticated operations
Planning & Organization: Efficiently lead and implement visible, high-risk, broad-scale initiatives

Nice to have

Experience with SQL and data analytics / management tools is a plus
Experience in the technology industry, mobile applications, retail or large consumer based sectors is a plus
