Job Responsibility

Lead and supervise fee earners in line with Lexcel, CQS, and SRA standards
Deliver structured legal training and maintain best practice across the department
Oversee compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters including AML
Drive improvements in client service, case intake and operational efficiency
Handle complex or sensitive property transactions as required
Maintain and develop strong relationships with introducers and partners.

Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with significant experience (minimum of 6 years) managing external law firms
In-depth knowledge of residential conveyancing and the associated legal process
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a busy caseload
Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Strong commercial and technical understanding of conveyancing practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
Familiarity with technological solutions for transaction management
Experience in tendering processes for third-party services

Audit and optimize current conveyancing processes to ensure scalability and efficiency
Develop and implement strategies to improve overall performance

Prioritize workloads based on client requirements and commercial objectives
