Job Description:

The Head of Conveyancing role involves leading a busy Property Group, supervising and developing the firm’s conveyancing department, and handling complex property transactions. Additionally, the role requires overseeing compliance, risk management, and improving client service and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and supervise fee earners in line with Lexcel, CQS, and SRA standards
deliver structured legal training and maintain best practice across the department
oversee compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters including AML
drive improvements in client service, case intake and operational efficiency
handle complex or sensitive property transactions as required
maintain and develop strong relationships with introducers and partners

Requirements:

Proven experience leading a team
deep understanding of residential property law
passion for compliance, training, and process improvement
hands-on, approachable management style

Salary up to £70,000
