Our client is a leading Construction Contractor with the US and has a reputation for delivering high profile projects to an exceptional standard. Due to the next phase in their strategy, they would like to appoint a Head of Construction. They are seeking a dynamic and highly accomplished construction executive to assume the pivotal role of Head of Construction, Americas. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior leader to propel their career to the next echelon, taking ownership of a diverse and complex portfolio of construction projects across the Americas region. The successful candidate will be a decisive, strategic leader responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring the successful execution of projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, budget control, and schedule adherence. This executive will play a critical part in shaping the company’s construction strategy and operational excellence within the region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Leadership: develop and implement regional construction strategy, drive process improvements and operational efficiency
  • P&L Oversight: assume responsibility for P&L and financial performance of Americas construction division
  • Team Management: lead, mentor, and expand high-performing construction team, fostering culture of accountability and safety
  • Stakeholder Engagement: act as primary construction representative with internal executive teams, external partners, and key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Executive Ambition: ready to elevate career from senior Director or VP role into regional leadership
  • General Contractor (GC) Expertise: mandatory experience operating at senior level within major General Contractor firm in USA market
  • Operational Excellence: proven track record managing large-scale, complex construction projects from concept to completion
  • Location: must be based in Florida or willing to relocate

Nice to have:

Experience with leading international firms with significant US presence, such as Skanska or Balfour Beatty
