At King's College School, Cascais, we seek a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to serve as the Head of Computer Science and ICT. Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum frameworks aligned with global best practices in computational thinking and digital literacy
  • Provide direction for the recruitment, induction, and professional development of Computer Science and ICT staff

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead a department with a focus on high student achievement and digital well-being
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and a deep understanding of Computer Science theory and ICT applications
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive educational improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in teaching and leading International Curricula (IGCSE/IB) and driving departmental growth
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire both staff and students
