Job Description:

As Head of Community, you will turn Lovable’s global builder ecosystem into a measurable driver of activation, retention, and brand strength. You’ll define and execute a global community strategy aligned with company-level growth targets, build and scale structured programs (Ambassadors, Campus Leaders, flagship events), and create tight feedback loops between community and product. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, growth, owning community as a measurable driver of activation, retention, expansion, and brand equity. This is a player-coach role. You will architect the strategy, build programs from 0→1, and establish the operating model for how community directly contributes to revenue and long-term customer value. You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work cross-functionally with Growth, Product, Sales, and Brand.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and execute Lovable’s global community strategy aligned with revenue, retention, and growth targets (both online & offline)
  • Expand Lovable into new geographies and segments through community-led initiatives
  • Build the operating model, tooling, and infrastructure required to scale community globally
  • Establish measurement frameworks directly linking community activity to activation, retention, expansion, and revenue
  • Create structured feedback loops between community and product to influence roadmap and improve user experience
  • Build and scale Lovable's community programs including Ambassadors, Champions, Campus Leaders, and future initiatives
  • Own end-to-end event strategy from ideation to execution: hackathons, workshops, meetups, and flagship moments (e.g., World Hackathon Tour, SheBuilds)
  • Track event ROI including attendance, participant activation, conversion to paid, and brand impact
  • Manage event budgets, sponsorships, and in-kind support (credits, swag, resources)
  • Partner with external organizations, universities, and companies to host community-led events globally
  • Develop content strategies that showcase community wins, user stories, and builder spotlights
  • Drive daily community engagement across Discord, social platforms, and online forums
  • Create systems for community-generated educational content (tutorials, courses, templates)
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a team of community managers
  • Partner with Product Marketing on launch activations, customer stories, and positioning insights from community
  • Collaborate with Growth on community-led acquisition and activation strategies
  • Work with Brand and Social teams on community content amplification
  • Align with Customer Success and Sales on enterprise community engagement opportunities

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of building and scaling programs from 0→1 in Growth, Product or Community roles
  • Experience with PLG or community-led growth motions in high-growth tech environments
  • Technical enough to understand and use Lovable deeply—you should be able to demo the product, troubleshoot issues, and speak the language of builders
  • Execution-oriented with strong project management skills—you ship fast, iterate based on feedback, and drive results
  • Data-driven approach to community strategy with ability to set KPIs, analyze performance, and optimize programs
  • Experience managing teams and mentoring community managers
  • From the community—ideally you've been an active participant or leader in developer, tech, or builder communities yourself

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the AI/ML, no-code, or developer tools space
  • Previous experience at a high-growth startup (especially during rapid scaling phases)
  • Background in event production or large-scale hackathon organization
  • Familiarity with community platforms (Discord, Slack, forums) and community analytics tools
  • Content creation skills (writing, video, social media)
