We're currently partnering with a tertiary education institute in Hong Kong in finding a Head of Communication to lead the team and to be responsible in end-to-end development and execution of contents (across different platforms) and corporate branding strategy to support the institute's value and it's brand presence locally and internationally.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible in developing a range of contents ranging from academic to branding on different communications platforms aligned with the University's value and philosophy
Lead the team towards a communication best practices to ensure alignment and consistent messages of the Institute to the public audience
Collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop impactful and brand-aligned communications strategies
Oversee the end-to-end development of contents (online & offline) covering a range of contents including research, knowledge transfer, partnership, large-scale events, university best practices
Identify interesting academic story & research with academic leaders and showcase it to local and overseas audience to drive awareness and grow Institute's reputation in the domain area
Provide and support the senior leadership/management team on developing scripts, messages, speeches and other communications contents/materials
Requirements:
Degree holder in Communications, Journalism or related discipline
Minimum 15 years experience in corporate communications, preferably in an educational institution, public or semi-government sector
Proven track record in team management and leadership
Strong writing and editing skills - proven record in developing contents for senior/C-levels
Excellent communications and people oriented
Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
Strong team player, strong project management and results oriented
