Our client, a global events management company serving pharma, biotech, and healthcare organizations, is seeking a VP of Sales and Marketing to join their growing organization. You’ll own commercial growth end to end: building pipeline strategy, personally leading high-value pursuits, and closing multi-million-dollar service contracts with pharma, biotech, and healthcare clients. The work is relationship-led, and is built around long sales cycles that require patience, credibility, and in-person trust.
Job Responsibility:
Own and execute the company’s commercial growth strategy
Personally drive new business development within pharma, biotech, and healthcare
Build, manage, and close a long-cycle pipeline (6–12+ months) with regulated procurement buyers
Lead complex, multi-million-dollar service deals ($1–2M average contract value)
Act as a player-coach: leading by example while guiding sales efforts across the organization
Partner with marketing leadership to direct demand generation and positioning (not execution)
Represent the company at industry conferences, tradeshows, and client events
Requirements:
Proven experience selling services or events into pharma, biotech, or healthcare procurement
Deep understanding of regulated, compliance-driven sales environments
