Our client is an independently regulated utilities company specialising in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a broad range of infrastructure projects. With a strong growth pipeline and a nationwide presence, they are undergoing a strategic review and require an Interim Commercial Director to provide stability, ensure compliance, and lead the business through this transitional phase.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead overall business performance with full profit and loss (P&L) accountability
  • Develop and drive commercial strategy, enhancing performance and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including Ofwat and the Environment Agency (EA), maintaining robust governance standards
  • Lead and develop multi-site teams, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders, building and sustaining strong relationships
  • Oversee performance reporting, providing insightful updates to the board and senior leadership
