Proven leadership experience within a legal team or department
Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to business development
Exceptional client care and communication skills

Desire to contribute to the strategic direction of the firm and the department.

Job Responsibility

Lead and manage the Commercial Property department, including supervision and mentoring of junior lawyers and support staff
Oversee a varied caseload including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, commercial leases, developments, and investment transactions
Deliver expert, commercially focused legal advice to clients across sectors
Maintain and grow strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
Play an active role in business development, networking, and identifying opportunities for growth
Work with the senior management team to develop and implement departmental strategy
Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements
Monitor team performance, targets, and financial KPIs, including billing and profitability.
