MedicQuant is a fast‑growing diagnostics startup developing a breakthrough platform technology that delivers critical answers within minutes at the point of care. Our mission is to enable faster, life‑saving treatment decisions by bringing high‑accuracy diagnostic insights directly to clinicians when they need them most. Our first product focuses on accelerating stroke treatment, supporting clinicians in making rapid, well‑informed decisions where every minute counts. We will look into expanding our platform to multiple diagnostic targets and new clinical areas, with significant commercial opportunities across the UK, Germany, and the US which are our initial priority markets. Job Responsibility:

  • Identify and assess new market opportunities through research and engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (evaluating unmet needs, market size, and competitive dynamics) to guide portfolio strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical Key Opinion Leaders
  • Identify corporate partners who can benefit from integrating the MedicQuant platform and develop compelling value propositions
  • Establish commercial partnerships with pharma companies where the technology can support clinical studies or complement their products
  • Drive reimbursement strategy across key geographies
  • Select and manage consultants for reimbursement, coding, and payer engagement
  • Support mapping of reimbursement pathways and creation of payer materials
  • Negotiate pricing levels with customers
  • Lead health economic and value demonstration work in collaboration with consultants to support value‑based pricing and reimbursement
  • Develop value dossiers, cost‑effectiveness models, and economic evidence that strengthens the value proposition together with consultants
  • Quantify the platform’s economic impact, including patient volumes and customer-level value of adopting MedicQuant solutions
  • Define early go‑to‑market plans and support pre‑launch activities, including identifying early adopters and shaping launch strategy
  • Contribute to brand positioning, messaging, and foundational marketing materials
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure the user perspective informs product development
  • Build early commercial processes, tools, and KPIs - e.g., training materials, sales/distributor onboarding tools, and metrics to track hospital adoption
  • Create slide decks and support investor materials and grant applications with commercial insights, including market size estimates and revenue projections

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in diagnostics, medtech, or life science commercialization
  • Experience in market strategy, commercial development, or similar roles
  • Experience with reimbursement, market access, or health economics (directly or via consultants) is an advantage
  • Experience or networks in UK, Germany, or US markets is a plus
  • Comfortable operating in a hands‑on, execution‑focused environment typical of early‑stage companies
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into commercial strategy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • advanced degree in business, life sciences, or related fields is a plus
