Your role at BRE This is a hands-on commercial leadership role, combining strategic direction with active delivery therefore it requires a pragmatic, hands-on approach to driving revenue and commercial performance. Lead delivery of the commercial strategy and plans aligned to growth and revenue targets Own revenue performance, including pipeline management, forecasting and pricing activity Drive new business, renewals and account development across assurance services Oversee key customer, partner and market relationships to support growth and retention Ensure commercial activity complies with accreditation, governance and assurance standards Monitor market, regulatory and competitor activity to inform commercial decision-making Establish consistent commercial processes, reporting and performance management Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial activity with operational delivery Lead and manage commercial and account management team performance What we are looking for Strong commercial leadership experience within assurance, certification, inspection, professional services or other regulated environments Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, managing pipelines and achieving financial targets Experience managing contracted services, renewals and long-term customer relationships Ability to drive disciplined sales execution, forecasting accuracy and commercial performance Strong account management capability with a focus on customer retention and growth Sound commercial judgement across pricing, contracts, margins and deal structures Experience operating within regulated, compliance-led or accreditation-driven environments Strong understanding of governance, independence and integrity requirements within assurance services Ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments to inform strategy

Job Responsibility

  • Lead delivery of the commercial strategy and plans aligned to growth and revenue targets

  • Set and deliver a clear long term strategy for catering and hospitality across conferences, exhibitions, premium and retail operations
  • Lead venue wide strategic planning, ensuring alignment with client ambition, Levy priorities and sustainability commitments
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to the Client, contributing to broader venue and campus wide discussions beyond catering delivery
  • Use market insight, customer data and competitor analysis to keep the venue ahead of industry trends
  • Present strategic recommendations and investment cases to senior stakeholders
  • Design and execute growth strategies to increase revenue, spend per head and commercial returns across all hospitality formats
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities including partnerships, experiential concepts and innovation initiatives
  • Lead strategic pricing, revenue optimisation and margin improvement programmes
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Culinary, E15 Insights, Projects and Commercial teams
