Overview Head of Claims & Run-Off Management – 29744 As the leader of a dedicated team of three professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, you will have a unique opportunity to foster your personal growth while cultivating an inclusive and collaborative culture that meets the needs of their clients and stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, train and develop the Claims and Run-Off Management team, ensure efficient and effective operation
  • Ensure and promote a consistent reserving and claims settlement culture within the department
  • Administer and monitor large complex claims
  • Coordinate and report losses proactively with Company Claims
  • Ensure reviews of claims and requirements are undertaken

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in law or business studies, higher education or excellent business experience
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
  • A minimum of 7-8 years’ claims experience in reinsurance and insurance in the European market
  • Analytical skills to interpret legal claims topics in order to determine and take appropriate action
  • IT systems- and IT projects-knowledge/experience
