Job Description

Reporting directly to the CPO, you’ll lead our People Business Partnering and Talent Development functions (excluding Talent Acquisition), driving strategies that shape our culture, grow capability, and future-proof our organisation. As a trusted adviser to senior leaders, you’ll influence at the highest level, bringing clarity, insight and innovation to our people agenda while ensuring our workforce strategy aligns with MTC’s ambitious mission.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a high-performing People Business Partnering team
  • Shape and deliver organisation-wide people strategy
  • Drive workforce planning, succession and talent management
  • Oversee leadership development and capability building
  • Guide organisational design and support senior leader decision‑making
  • Champion culture, performance, inclusion and employee experience
  • Use people data and insights to influence strategic outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and represent the People function in governance forums
  • Act as an adviser and escalation point for complex organisational matters

Requirements

  • Significant senior leadership experience in HR Business Partnering & Talent Development
  • Strong organisational design and change leadership capability
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Data‑driven decision-making and commercial acumen
  • Experience leading people teams and navigating complex change
  • Strong expertise in talent management, workforce planning and development

Nice to have

  • Chartered CIPD (or equivalent)
