A leading developer is seeking a strategic Head of Business Development to lead its core growth and land-bank optimisation initiatives. This role is a perfect fit for a senior professional with deep expertise in deal structuring and strategic ventures. You will leverage your understanding of global tech and urban development to maximise shareholder value and spearhead the organisation's mission to drive sustainable, tech-integrated urban growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Land Acquisition & Sourcing: Aggressively identify, evaluate, and secure new land banks and strategic sites through a robust network of landowners, agents, and government authorities
  • Feasibility Studies & Market Surveys: Conduct comprehensive market surveys and rigorous financial analysis including demand projections, project finance structures, and NPV/IRR scenarios
  • Founder Collaboration: Partner directly with the Founders and Directors to align land banking strategies with the company's long-term vision, presenting data-driven investment briefs for board approval
  • Strategic Alliances & JVs: Identify, negotiate, and lead high-stakes Joint Ventures (JVs), partnerships, and land-owner collaborations to expand market presence and asset performance
  • Deal Structuring: Spearhead the formulation of innovative business models, joint-development agreements, and project financing structures to ensure new ventures are commercially and legally robust
  • Capability Building: Mentor and develop a lean, high-performing team, fostering a culture of market agility, precision analysis, and commercial excellence

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Investment, or Property Development
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, with proven success in managing high-performing teams and reporting to Board-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting complex feasibility studies, advanced financial modelling, and project financing, specifically for large-scale property or mixed-use developments
