Job Description:

Lawes is seeking a Head of Broking for a respected insurance brokerage. This senior role leads the broking function, ensuring effective placement of risks, strong insurer relationships, and technical excellence across all commercial lines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and lead broking strategy aligned to business growth
  • Manage and develop high-performing broking teams
  • Maintain strong insurer and underwriter relationships
  • Support complex and high-value placements
  • Ensure compliance with FCA and internal standards
  • Collaborate with client teams to support growth and retention
  • Oversee placement activity and documentation

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in commercial insurance
  • Proven broking leadership in UK and international markets

  • Skilled team leader with project management ability
